My working career started in Human Resources. After completing a degree in Psychology, I went on to successfully complete a Masters in Human Resource Management. 

 

My journey from HR leader to Executive Coach has equipped me with the insights and experience needed to guide clients through transformative growth, whether they are stepping into new leadership roles, navigating organisational challenges, or seeking personal clarity and resilience or developing career goals and a purpose or personal ‘why’.

My Background

 My career in Human Resources started after completing a degree in Psychology.  I went on to  successfully complete a Masters in Human Resource Management as part of my professional development. 

 

Over the next 25 years, I worked as a senior HR Leader across various business environments, achieving the status of Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).

 

This has provided me with a solid understanding and experience of  how organisations grow and flourish, the importance of people development and the variety of dynamics, challenges and changes leaders face in an uncertain world.

My Coaching Philosophy

My coaching approach is grounded in a values-based and positive growth mindset perspective. I believe that with the right guidance, environment, and opportunities, everyone can achieve their full potential—often exceeding their own expectations.

 

Whether working with individuals or groups, in one-off sessions or long-term programmes, I am committed to helping people at every stage of their career explore their capabilities and develop strategies for personal and professional growth.

Transition to Independent Consultant

In 2016, I decided to transition from HR to focus entirely on coaching and leadership development. I completed  an ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching & Mentoring  and later enhanced my skills with a Diploma in Transformational Coaching in 2020.

 

As a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), I currently hold Individual Accreditation at Practitioner Level, ensuring that my work adheres to the highest professional and ethical standards, guided by the EMCC’s Global Code of Ethics.

Building Strong Client Relationships

Clients often share that they value the rapport and connection we build together. They appreciate feeling listened to and supported, knowing that they are in a safe, trusted space where they can explore, be curious, and expand their thinking.

 

I balance challenge and support to empower my clients to take responsibility for their own growth, ensuring they leave each session with a clear sense of purpose and direction.
